Visitors always welcome!

You will find our meetings genial and warm. We like to have fun and use humor while improving on our speaking and leadership skills. It’s a great place to learn and practice them. Our meetings are fast paced and well organized. We get a lot done in the one hour. Each member has a story to tell and our club provides opportunities for us to give expression to our experiences, aspirations and life lessons. Each of us receives affirmation and encouragement from the club in our efforts to improve, serve and learn. As a bonus the Senior Center serves a great breakfast for $4 after the meeting for any who wish to stay.

New members receive the Competent Toastmaster manual (speaking projects), the Competent Leader manual (leadership skills) and other member resources.

You will be assigned a mentor within the club to help you begin progressing in your speaking and leadership manuals.

Members work on their manual speeches and leadership projects at their own pace. We have a VP of Education who will help you schedule speeches and other roles so you can best achieve your goals in a timely manner. Mentors help new members get acquainted with the club and what to expect for each of the assignments they may choose to do.

Each year Toastmasters International holds two contests. In the spring are the International Speech Contest and the Evaluation Contest. In the fall we have the Humorous Speech Contest and Table Topics Contest. The contests are optional, but challenging and fun.
